 The Moorpark Police Department and California Highway Patrol invite our community members to join us for National Night Out.

 National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie that make our neighborhoods safer.

• We will kick off the event with a copter flyover
• Representatives and displays from several of our specialized units, including 
  •  K-9 Unit
  • Command Post
  • SWAT Team
  • Unmanned Aerial Systems
  • Mounted Enforcement Unit
  • Tactical Response Team
  • Volunteers in Policing (hosting a KidPrint booth), Explorers, motor officers, detectives, and more!
  • Additionally, California Highway Patrol will be hosting a bike rodeo for kids (bring your bikes and helmets if you have them.) 
  • The Ventura County Fire Department will have a fire engine on display in the touch-a-truck area
  • Our City of Moorpark partners will have a tractor and a dump truck on display. 

Several of our community partners will be providing free dinner, drinks, dessert, and back to school supplies to the first 250 guests.

The City of Moorpark, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the Moorpark Police Department, and California Highway Patrol are committed to maintaining the safety of all residents by building community partnerships. We invite you to come out and ask questions, get crime prevention advice, get to know the officers in our city, and have some fun!
