The stars of the first Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, were announced in August 2001: Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. The premier of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" occurred November 4, 2001 at Odeon Leicester Square in London . JK Rowling would acknowledge the events of 9/11/01 at a memorial 9/11/21
