Student scholarship winners will be notified in the summer and awarded their scholarships for the fall semester. Public recognition of the scholarship winners will happen annually at the PRSA-LA PRism Awards ceremony.
In addition to receiving the scholarship, students will receive (1) year FREE access to all PRSA-LA webinars and events, giving them the additional opportunity to network and learn from PR professionals.
AWARD
Students selected will win a $1,000 scholarship.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT
Friday, May 6, 2022, at 5 p.m. PST
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Attend or be accepted to attend a four-year accredited college or university in Los Angeles County by Fall 2022 semester or be enrolled for the 2022-2023 school year.
- Be an incoming college sophomore, junior, senior undergraduate, or graduate student.
- Earn a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA and 3.0 GPA in their major subject.
- Express a desire to work in the public relations/communications industries.
- Major in public relations, communications, advertising, and marketing.
- Be available to attend the PRSA-LA PRism Awards in the fall.
OTHER
Preference will be given to PRSSA student members.
