Christian Game Developers is an organization dedicated to helping Christians in the game industry connect with and support one another.
We hold an annual conference for networking and learning about the latest technologies and ideas and we also foster a passionate community year-round, as well as help facilitate smaller, localized events. The CGDC is a nonprofit organization based out of Oregon.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
CGDC strives to reflect Christian values and, as such, is inclusive by nature. No one will ask for, nor check, any type of “credentials”.
The friendships forged at the annual Christian Game Developers Conference have resulted in the formation of studios and the development of countless games.
The conference is intended for those interested in the development of Christian games of all types:
- video/computer
- tabletop
- board
- card games.
Attending will be:
- People of all skill levels
- Hobbyists
- Professional developers.
- Believers working on non-Christian games
- Non-game makers interested in the use of Christian games for their ministry or the surrounding community.
- Many successful Christian game studios will be in attendance
- Individual programmers, artists, designers, composers, writers, and voice-over actors
Our attendees tend to be open and willing to share their expertise.
Age is not a barrier to participation.
Our venue is requiring that all attendees be 18 years or older. If younger than that, they need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Feb 10, 2022 Virtual Conference In 60 minutes we will create a board game prototype from original ideas generated by the crowd in this interactive workshop. I will challenge the group to consider five elements of a game required to turn an idea into a reality: theme, mechanics, components, allies, and threats.
