Council to Vote to Approve $50k Reward for Arrest & Information of Murderer of OK Ja Kim

Ok Ja Kim of Woodland Hills was murdered August 2nd. Two San Fernando Valley L.A. City Council members will ask the Council to offer a $50,000 reward to resolve finding the murderer.

The LA City Council Tuesday meeting has thirty-four items scheduled. Item #20 concerns an offer of reward for information which would lead to arrest and conviction of the murderer of Ok Ja Kim on August 2nd this year.

MOTION (BLUMENFIELD ­ LEE) relative to relative to an offer of reward 

for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of

person(s) responsible for the death of Ok Ja Kim on August 2, 2022.

Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL

OF THE MAYOR:

1. PROVIDE an offer of reward in the amount of $50,000 for

information leading to the identification, apprehension, and

conviction of the person(s) responsible for the death of Ok Ja Kim

on August 2, 2022.

2. FIND that the subject reward complies with the provisions of

Chapter 12, Article 1, Division 19, of the Los Angeles Administrative

Code.

3. DIRECT the City Clerk to publish the required notices and/or

advertisements to effectuate this reward.
