While Project Gutenberg is an online resource the Libraries throughout the San Fernando Valley also offer resources in seminars and lectures, hard copy books and text, and even computer terminals.  A Desk-Book of Errors in English, by Frank H. Vizetelly—The Project Gutenberg eBook was written in 1920 but offers a starting point for writers to analyze habits & style that are presumed to be clear and understandable.
