The National Heirloom Exposition has been called “The World’s Fair of Pure Food,” Join 20,000 gardeners, farmers, and chefs from across the globe! Participate in a seed swap!!

The National Heirloom Expo began in 2011, with a pause during the 2020-2021 shutdown. This year is the 10th Expo! The show features an expo hall filled with beautiful displays of heirloom fruits and vegetables for exhibition and tasting, including the iconic Tower of Squash, which is always a centerpiece of the event!

Three days of celebrating heirloom gardening and healthy food!

  • Browse an amazing display of heirloom vegetables and flowers in the expo hall! 
  • Enjoy delicious cuisine from local healthy food vendors
  •  EXHIBITORS
    • The Expo features a wide array of natural vendors from across the country and beyond. 
    • Expect to find everything from heirloom seeds to produce, live plants, and organic garden products, as well as clothing, household products, and craft items!
  • The seed swap is always a highlight of the event as well, and everyone is invited to bring seeds to share or swap.

    • Volunteers work in four-hour shifts
    • Volunteers receive a gate pass and meal voucher to use at the end of their shifts.
    • The Expo would not be possible without happy, energetic volunteers!
    • Volunteer opportunities range from 
      • Distributing event fliers to farmers’ markets and businesses
      • Setting up the fairgrounds prior to the event to helping at the entry gates
      • Working in the pavilions
      • Giving breaks to full-time staff.

National Heirloom Exposition tickets September 12th, 13th and 14th (rareseeds.com)

  • Tickets are $15 per day or $30 for a three-day pass. Ages 17 and under enter for free. 
  • Tickets will ship approximately 30 days before event. 
  • Please be sure to bring your ticket or order confirmation with you for entry.
