Float Decoration Volunteer for the Tournament of Roses are organized directly by the float builders. Most float builders have minimum age requirements.
Before they make their grand debut in the Rose Parade, floats get their final touches at Decorating Places. This special event gives you a one-of-a-kind opportunity to preview the parade entries up close and see firsthand how these stunning floats are created. Watch skilled professionals and dedicated volunteers carefully add intricate floral designs and natural elements and explore the decorating facilities. Float Decoration Volunteer - Tournament of Roses - All volunteer decorating opportunities are organized directly by the float builders.
Most float builders have minimum age requirements. All volunteer decorators will be required to sign a waiver. Dress appropriately—float decorating can be messy and you may get glue, paint and/or dirt on your shoes and clothing. Wear old clothes and comfortable close-toed shoes, and bring a jacket as it can get cool in the evenings.

Come join the community of enthusiastic volunteers who help to produce the Rose Parade, Rose Bowl Game and other Tournament of Roses events!
REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP

- Be between the ages of 21 and 70 as of January 18, 2024.
- Live or work within 25 miles of Pasadena City Hall (100 Garfield Ave., Pasadena 91101).
- Be able to purchase a white suit.
- Pay annual dues beginning at $55 and will increase depending on Member level.
- Be available to volunteer each year on and around January 1.
- Be available to attend committee and or Association meetings throughout the year.
- A successful completion of a background screening will be required.
