In this workshop, you'll learn how to identify misinformation and "fake news" in today’s media landscape. Discover tools and techniques to fact-check sources, evaluate credibility and bias, and navigate misleading information online.
After this workshop, you will know how to:
Identify common types of misinformation and disinformation
Examine bias and accuracy of reporting by various news outlets
Apply lateral reading to evaluate the credibility of news stories and websites
