Supplies needed, in addition to the clock, are:

  • Yarn - or 6 strands of embroidery floss - or colored thick string
  • Needle - Large - similar to rug needle - sharpness not a factor. Plastic will work.
  • Ribbon
  • Sticky hooks for hanging the ribbon (Video shows "Hannon Sticky Hooks, 18 x 30mm " which is equivalent to .7" x 1.11")
  • Optional permanent marker-pen complimenting yarn color to "paint" over clock hands.

Back stitch is used to cover all the holes in each number.

  1. Knot your yarn
  2. Come up from the back and go down the adjacent hole.  Holes 1 and 2 are used here.
  3. Come up in hole #4 and go down hole #3
  4. Come up in hole #6 and go down hole #5
  5. Continue around each number.
