California National Adoption Day 11/22/25 participant list does not yet include L.A. County or City which participated in 2024 with 200 children "finding forever homes".
According to the National Adoption Day website a coalition of four national partners launched the day for awareness and celebration in 1999. The annual celebration is on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, which in 2025 falls on November 22.
