LAUSD After-School Program Employee Arrested for Child Pornography

A 25yr old LAUSD employee is accused of creating artificial intelligence-generated Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) involving at least two identified minors in Los Angeles.

    Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Juvenile Division and Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, along with Special Agents from Homeland Security Investigations’ Child Exploitation Investigations Group, are asking the public for help identifying additional victims.

    On December 22, 2025, 25-year-old Julian Kurt Perez, a Los Angeles resident and after-school employee who worked at schools and after-school programs throughout the San Fernando Valley, was arrested. Perez was booked on one count of 311.11(a) of the Penal Code, Possession of Child or Youth Pornography (booking #7149247).

    Perez created artificial intelligence-generated Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) involving at least two identified minor victims in Los Angeles. Juvenile Division Detectives and HSI Special Agents are overseeing the investigation and releasing the suspect’s booking photo because they believe the suspect is responsible for additional, unreported victims. Detectives are asking anyone who this suspect has victimized to contact the LAPD or HSI immediately. In addition, detectives and special agents are seeking the public’s assistance with information about this crime.

    Perez is believed to target minor-aged females. He is described as a male, Hispanic, with black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds.
