Three Volunteer Groups Cleaning the SFV Sidewalks & Streets in February

Three organizations have a focus on cleaning the sidewalks and streets beyond the scope and schedule of Los Angeles City Bureau of Street Services.

    Street sweeping is one of StreetsLA’s most important functions. There are more than 4,700 curb miles in the City of Los Angeles that are posted for regular street sweeping operations, allowing our sweepers to clean the streets, keep trash out of our rivers and ocean, and prevent local flooding due to blocked storm drains.  Street Sweeping | Bureau of Street Services (StreetsLA)


Toluca Lake Chamber - February 28, 2026 7:45 am Community Cleanup

Meet at Priscilla’s Gourmet Coffee 4150 Riverside Drive, Burbank  at 7:45 am and
Follow us as we walk through various streets to clean up sidewalks and driveways. Enjoy free refreshments and meet your local community. Bring your gloves and brooms. We’ll provide trash bags.  Community Cleanup is the last Saturday of each month.

  • TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17 - CANOGA & PRAIRIE AREA 
    Park in the parking lot at the corner of Prairie and Canoga - behind the back gate area
  • WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 18 - CHATSWORTH TRAIN STATION AREA 
    Park in the parking lot at the NORTH end of the station just across from Ralph's Market.
  • THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19 - VENTURA & WINNETKA AREA 
    Park in the Ralph's parking lot across from Taft High - corner of Winnetka & Ventura
  • SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21 TAMPA & RINALDI AREA  
    Park in the Jack in the Box parking lot on Tampa just south of Rinaldi -east side of Tampa... park way from the entrance.
  • SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21 - SIMI VALLEY ERRINGER ON & OFF RAMPS
    Park in the PARK & RIDE at the Erringer off ramp area. 8AM - 10AM
  • MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23 - RESEDA PARK AREA
    Park in the parking lot on Victory just east of Reseda by the tennis courts Look for yellow vests.
  • TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24 - PORTER RANCH DRIVE AREA
    Park in the PARK & RIDE parking lot just south of the 118 freeway at the Porter Ranch Drive exit.
