So. California Tropical Storm Warnings...Again

Unlike 10 days ago when the reality of a 20% chance of rain became .25" for minutes. This storm has the potential of a greater impact on a broader area of Southern California.

The National Weather Service expanded Tropical Storm Watch, at 3pm, to include "ALL of LOS ANGELES County, as well as mountains, valley and foothills of Ventura County."

While early this morning the NWS expressed "Latest forecast info from @NHC_Pacific on #HurricaneHilary. Currently a powerful CAT 4 storm. Hurricane Hilary will weaken to a tropical storm as it approaches Southern California this weekend."

A serious warning has been issued concerning traveling across the Tejon Pass, Interstate 5, over the next 24 hours by the California Highway Patrol.  CHP advises against I-5 Tejon Pass travel as effects from Hurricane Hilary loom (msn.com)
