Birmingham Hospital Veterans Hall 6543 Corbin Avenue, Woodland Hills, CA
- is a place where our Military (Veterans) can go and their families
- We also have connections where they can go if in need of help
- Other veterans are always there if you need someone to talk to.
- We take donations and deliver them to the Veterans Hospital and the West Los Angeles Veterans Hospital, we also have the Toy Drive every year starting in August to December 18, and give the toys to the Highway Patrol, Fire Departments, and Toys for Tots.
Malibu Lake
The 60th Annual Mother’s Day Pancake Breakfast is Sunday, May 11th at the Malibou Lake Mountain Club from 8:30am to noon. This event is hosted by Boy Scout Troop 127, which is comprised of more than 80 boys ages 11 to 17.
A breakfast of pancakes, eggs, breakfast meat, bagels and fruit is made by Scout dads and served to patrons by the scouts themselves. The cost per ticket is $10 and children under 3 are free. A raffle and auction are also part of this special event. Each year, hundreds of area families attend the breakfast and more than 1,000 meals are served that morning. It has become an annual tradition among Conejo Valley families on Mother’s Day.
Proceeds from the fundraiser provide scholarships to scouts in need as well as funding for equipment and youth development programs that promote self-reliance, leadership, conservation, and community service.
