Made You Look. So.California Tropical Storm Warnings...20% chance

This tweet has been interpreted by many news outlets as "FLASH FLOODING" when in fact the National Weather Service did not express that concern:

"Remnant tropical moisture will support a chance (20-30 percent) of showers and slight (10-20 percent) chance of thunderstorms Wednesday into Thursday," the weather service wrote. "The main concerns include dangerous lightning, including possible fire starts, and brief heavy rain leading to minor flooding." 7-Day Forecast 34.28N 118.43W (weather.gov)

Marine Statement from National Weather Service:

..ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING... A moist and unstable air mass will bring the potential for isolated thunderstorms to the coastal waters Wednesday through Thursday morning. Any thunderstorm that forms will be capable of producing locally gusty winds and rough seas, dangerous lightning, heavy rainfall with reduced visibility, and waterspouts.

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. South wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
