Rest In Peace: Deputy Clinkunbroomer
Ryan Clinkunboomer was 30 years old when he was shot in the back of his head. He is survived by his fiancé Brittany, with whom he had become engaged only last week, and parents Michael (retired Sheriff)and Kim Clinkunboomer . He was a training officer at the Palmdale Station. He had graduated from West Ranch High School in Stevenson Ranch. A procession of law enforcement escorted Deputy Clinkunbroomer’s casket from Antelope Valley Medical Center in Lancaster to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office. As the procession lead our brother to the Coroner’s office early this morning, his family was met with much love and support. Not only from Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies, but from various local law enforcement and fire department personnel.

Deputy Sheriff Alejandro Martinez succumbed to injuries sustained on November 16th, 2022, as he and other recruits from Academy Class 464 ran in formation as part of their morning physical fitness routine. His EOW was July 28, 2023. Deputy Martinez was sworn in as a sheriff's deputy two weeks after the incident.The driver who struck the group was initially charged with attempted murder of peace officers, but charges were dropped as the investigation continues.
Deputy Sheriff Thomas Albanese was killed in a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Del Amo Boulevard and Paramount Boulevard, in Lakewood, at about 9:00 am. His patrol motorcycle collided with a vehicle in the intersection, and he suffered fatal injuries. He had been a Sheriff for seven years. End of Watch Thursday, February 25, 2021

The murder of Officer Clinkunbroomer follows in the shadow of the intentional hit-and-run murder of a retired police chief in Nevada. Currently Las Vegas police are looking for the passenger of a Hyundai Elantra who filmed the violent crime.
