There’s a craft to writing a good joke and telling it. In The Art of Stand-up Comedy, you’ll have fun learning what it takes to write and tell a joke, develop stage presence, and more!

Have you ever wanted to try stand-up comedy? Maybe when you watch a stand-up comedian perform, you think, “I could do better than this joker.” Well, now is your chance! This four-week stand-up comedy workshop is designed to give you the tools to check the “Do Stand-up” item off your bucket list. You will learn what it takes to write and tell a joke, how to develop persona, stage presence and more. Seth will teach you everything you need to know to be a funnier version of you!

Four weeks - Fridays, 6:00pm - 8:00 pm

Professional stand-up comedian, Seth Lawrence was a 2018 finalist in the US Comedy Contest. He has worked as host for the World Series of Comedy, performing in clubs all over the country. You can hear little clips of him on Family USA and Jeff & Larry's Comedy Roundup, if you're lucky. Most recently, Seth recorded a Dry Bar special set to come out later this year.
