Curious about a career in Law Enforcement? Don’t miss the LA County Sheriff’s Department Recruitment Workshop on Saturday, October 26th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Biscailuz Center (1060 N. Eastern Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90063).
This family event will provide the opportunity to learn more about becoming a deputy sheriff, but you can speak with professional staff (sworn/unsworn), reserve deputies, custody assistants, and security officers & assistants. Learn about specialized units such as Arson and Explosives, Special Enforcement Bureau, T.R.A.P. (Taskforce for Regional Autotheft Prevention), M.E.T. (Mental Evaluation Team), and Aero Bureau.
Come out and see what it takes to join in the tradition of service that is the Sheriff’s Department. The Department is expected to fill eight academy classes of 100 deputy sheriff trainees between our two academy locations- Santa Clarita Valley and Whittier.
