ORME - Not the Hydraulic Store in Northridge

Orme Brothers has provided Hydraulic Hose & Fittings for 60yrs; now has newfound attention by a new similarly named social media influencer app: Orme means "dragon".

According to their website "Orme Brothers Inc. is a family owned and operated performance and hydraulic hose and fitting store located in Southern California's San Fernando Valley. Established in 1944, we have been providing the very best in product, performance, knowledge and customer service for the better part of over 70 years. Orme Brothers Inc. specializes in hose and fittings for all applications. From 3/16th inch brakeline through 2" heavy hydraulics. We offer hose in a variety of synthetics and fittings in a variety of metals offering you, the customer, ample options to best suit your individual project." And on Facebook "Orme Brothers Inc. is your one stop solution to performance plumbing. From the daily driven to the most exotic applications our trained staff is here!"

Whereas, Orme the APP  introduced its platform in January as 

“Orme has four AI engines in it. It’s going to change the retail model with many people selling many things to many people,” said CEO/Chairman Robert D’Loren AND elsewhere the claim is"Orme is the Nordic word for dragon...as a protector of all evil — ...a sign that this new marketplace platform will provide honest and authentic product reviews"
