Its time once again for Mid Valley's Cops & Cowboys!

Don't miss all the fun at our annual Hoedown to raise funds for the Van Nuys / Sherman Oaks LAPD station. Don your cowboy hat and head out to the Leonis Adobe Museum for a great night of fun - a throwback to yesteryear - check out the museums, the farm, play poker & blackjack with the Dealer Dolls in the barn, dance to the Mary White Band, sidle up to Sherman's Saloon or Straussner's Watering Hole for a beverage, and enjoy a 'cooked on site' BBQ.

HOSTED once again by the amazing Wendy Burch of KTLA — we're gonna have a great time!

2024 Gold Star Award honorees:

• Sonya Blake, President & CEO of Valley Economic Alliance, helps address issues impacting the San Fernando Valley through strong alliances between business, education, government, and community partners. Her dedication to revitalizing Valley businesses and the local economy, lifting all parts of the Valley towards prosperity and a better quality of life, follows her career serving in roles with the City of Los Angeles, State of California, USC Roski School of Fine Arts, NAWBO, and the LA County Museum of Art.

• Deputy Chief Alan Hamilton, Chief of Detectives for the LAPD, will be saluted for his 3 decades of dedication to the Los Angeles Police Department and his exceptional commitment to the San Fernando Valley for over 8 years – serving as Captain in the West Valley and Topanga Patrol Divisions to his several years as Commanding Officer of the Valley Bureau. He is also known for his longtime commitment of mentorship to our youth and cadets, along with sworn and civilian members of the department.
