Shepherd Church, Porter Ranch - 9/11 Memorial Walk at Shepherd Church: Sept 5-13th | San Fernando Valley News Portal  Each of the 2,977 American flags represents one victim and is marked with a colored ribbon identifying where they served or where they lost their life: red for firefighters and emergency responders, blue for police officers, green for those who died at the Pentagon, yellow for civilians in the World Trade Center, and purple for those aboard the four airplanes.

Waves of Flags - 9/11 25th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony Friday September 11 2026 9:00am  There is no cost to attend the remembrance ceremony, but registration is encouraged. We recommend that attendees arrive early to secure seating and allow the ceremony to begin promptly.
