While national media reports and commentaries related to border incidents highlight the rehousing of people who have crossed the border in various methods and are now receiving access to relocation resources; the issues of drugs, human trafficking, and illegal commerce is worthy of equal attention.

The Jan- Apr 2023 statistics do not detail Canada/Alaska boundary protection but therefore the dramatic enforcement encounters is closely consistent inconsistent with the 25%/52% milage difference of the Northern & Southern state borders.
