The CSUN Map collection, supports research on campus and consists of
- 400,000 historical and government maps
- Aerial photographs
- Atlases
- Geospatial data
It was made possible by public donations as well as from:
The collection moved to the library in 2019 to gain more space; prior to the move it was in Sierra Hall, as part of the geography department
Community members are also welcome to use the collection, by appointment, for their personal research.
The Map Collection is located on the University Library’s garden level.
It’s open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, by appointment only. For appointments and more information, call (818) 677-3465 or email librarymaps@csun.edu.
