Here’s what you need to make these at home:
6 cups (1.4 L) water
1 3/4 cups borax or 2 1/3 cups alum (less toxic alternative)
Clean, dry eggshell halves or pieces
Clean glass jars
Boil the water and borax/alum until dissolved, and carefully pour into jars. Add eggshells to hot solution, being careful not to overlap. Depending on jar, you may only be able to add 1-3 to each container. Let sit for a full 24 hours, remove, and admire your beautiful geodes!...
