Who Remembers Natalie Flores, 12, Kevin Yanez, 10, and Nathan Yanez, 8.

May 7th, 2022, three children were shot and killed in West Hills. The mother was charged for the murder along with her 15-year-old son, as an accomplice. The mother of seven children admits to murdering Natalie Flores, 12, Kevin Yanez, 10, and Nathan Yanez, 8.

There has been no visible follow up, for public benefit, of the court process for justice.

While it was reported:

A gun was used to kill the children; no advocates to limit gun violence are taking up this case. 

An older child was also arrested; no advocates to prevent child abuse & negligence are taking up this case

She admitted to killing her children, which led to her arrest, no one including other media outlets has stood up to suggest ways or signs to prevent a similar situation occurring again in the community

No public notice of what led up to such an unnatural and tragic course for a family. There have been five court dates in 2024. all as previously in Dept 100.  Four have been continued and the fifth is a "Preliminary Hearing Setting" now in Dept 122, on the 6th floor. Both are at the Van Nuys Courthouse West. 

Angela Flores remains remanded.  No Sentencing Information is available.

The scheduled arrangement & plea of Angela Dawn Flores began May 10th, 2022, with arraignment on 5/11/22; then four additional dates in 2022 and four more in 2023.
