What We Do:

Lunch Making Team: Volunteers would make sack lunches according to the list provided and drop off at Shepherd.

We are inviting you to join us in spreading hope, joy and love to those experiencing homelessness here in our community. It's as simple as making lunches at home and dropping them off here at Shepherd, where they will be picked up and delivered by a team of volunteers. Here's how you can participate:

Dates: 1st & 2nd Saturday of Every Month!

Ministry Details:

  •  Make sacked lunched at home.
  •  Drop off meals At the Shepherd North Patio.
  •  Drop off between 11:00 - 12:00

Make Lunches:

We ask that each lunch bag must have the type of sandwich clearly written on the outside of the bag. We suggest making around 10 lunches. Here are some suggested items for each lunch:

  • 1 Sandwich (Peanut Butter and Jelly, Ham & Cheese, Turkey, etc)
  • 1 Piece of Fruit (oranges or tangerines preferred)
  • 1 Snack (chips, granola bar, etc.)
  • 1 Beverage
  • 1 Cookie or Dessert
  • 1 Napkin or Paper Towel

Also, we want to remind everyone to decorate the bags and include a note of love, hope, joy, etc...
