The parade kicks off at the intersection of Hill Street and Ord Street and makes a full lap over the 3 hours. It usually begins promptly at 1pm and last until 4pm.

As Chinese Americans gather from all over Los Angeles to continue the festivities around the Lunar New Year, what they celebrate most of all is this time of families coming together – of gathering, unity and giving thanks for the coming year.  

125th Golden Dragon Parade — Chinese Chamber of Commerce (CCCLA)

Tens of thousands of visitors are expected to gather and line the streets every year, in the five block radius spanning North Broadway and Hill street in Chinatown. Families, friends and children of all ages will be cheering on the marching bands, kung fu performers, lion dancers and the newly crowned Miss Chinatown Los Angeles

The 124th Golden Dragon Parade sponsors include:

Floats and convertible cars will represent 120 years of this tradition, with the generous support and sponsorship from luxury car dealer, RUSNAK Pasadena, who in 2023 supplied a brigade of Bentleys, Mercedes and Jaguars for the parade.
