In this workshop, participants will learn how to investigate and interpret evidence-based research on the plant-based as it relates to cancer.
Our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and staff will discuss the latest evidence-based research on the benefits of following a plant-based diet, demystify the differences between plant-based, vegan, vegetarian, among others with their impact on cancer and health. We will go over how to grow your own fruits highlighting citrus, and recipes to incorporate into your diet.

Shannon Mcinteer and Alison Crowley
Shannon Mcinteer is a holistic health and wellness enthusiast. She began her healing journey years ago when she first learned different meditation techniques that inspired her to tap into her higher self. This path of newfound consciousness has led her to discover a growing passion for various healing modalities with the intention to bring balance to the body, mind and Soul. She is a certified Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher, Sound Healer, Reiki Master, and has recently became a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner. No matter where others may be on their healing or spiritual journey, Shannon is honored to hold safe space.
