Speaker Bio

Steve Little, the AI Program Director for the National Genealogical Society, is a seasoned expert with a lifelong passion for language, technology, and genealogy. His deep roots in one Appalachian county, where all 32 of his 3rd-great-grandparents had settled by 1820, fuel his passion for AI & genetic genealogy. His keen interest in endogamy, pedigree collapse, deciphering multiple relationships, and his insatiable curiosity to explore beneficial uses and current limits of artificial intelligence in genealogy make him a trusted source in the field. Beyond genealogy, Steve is a husband and a dad, a Methodist pastor, and a Virginian.
