St. Francis De La Salle (Sherman Oaks), St. Cyril of Jerusalem (Encino)

will conclude their baby-bottle fund raiser that ran from Mother's Day to Father's Day.

Pregnancy Counseling Center - Baby Bottle Drive - Mother’s Day through Father’s Day

This year the Pregnancy Counseling Center celebrates its 50th anniversary of service/counsel/comfort/support to pregnant women and also to men who discover they are to be parents.

A vital fund raiser of the PCC is its annual Baby Bottle Drive. In years past baby bottles were handed out one Sunday and you were asked to return the baby bottle enclosing your donation to the PCC the following Sunday whether coins or paper currency or checks. This year the baby bottle drive is online. Here is the link to support the PCC through this year’s baby bottle drive.

St. Joseph is often seen as a saint for fathers and father figures alike.

Pope Francis wrote a letter titled Patris Corde (“With a Father’s Heart”) in preparation for the year honoring St. Joseph, 2021.

In his letter he explains the fatherhood of St. Joseph through seven lenses:

  • Beloved father
  • Tender and loving father
  • Obedient father
  • Accepting father;
  • Creatively courageous father
  • Working father
  • “Father in the Shadows.”
