University of California Continuing Education Master Gardener Resources
The Spring Class Schedule of the Grow LA Vegetable Garden Initiative had no locations in the San Fernando Valley.  Since 1993, there have been 1,388 Master Gardeners trained. They have served 2,059,408 Los Angeles County residents and earned 83,312 continuing education hours.
What Master Gardeners Offer to the Public
- UC-certification for Vegetable Gardeners Led by UC Master Gardener volunteers, these four-session classes for beginning gardeners are offered at many locations each spring and fall.

- School Gardens - Los Angeles is home to many outstanding school gardens. UC Cooperative Extension provides support for Los Angeles County school gardens through the Master Gardener Program.

2023 UC Master Gardener Conference October 2-6, 2023 Tahoe City, CaliforniaÂ
UCCE Master Gardeners of Orange County will offer the  next volunteer training class starting at the end of 2023 through mid-Spring 2024. They will begin communicating about the application process in the Summer of 2023.
