However, recent reports have come to light which confound, challenge, and even rewrite Shetty's background story and resume. "Shetty’s resume includes a degree in behavioral science from a business school that doesn’t even offer it, the Guardian reported." ExpoWest is the largest natural products tradeshow in the world with pre-pandemic attendance at 90,000. The show shut down in 2020 a day before its scheduled March 3rd opening and then 11 days later announced they would not postpone the show but cancel it entirely. The ExpoEast reopened first in 2021 followed by the return of ExpoWest in 2022. They established a $5 million fund to "help support emerging brands significantly affected by the disruption."
