The Issue: 30 million people - More people are enslaved today than at any other time in history. The modern-day slave trade is one of the world’s fastest growing industries, with The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reporting, “After drug dealing, trafficking of humans is tied with arms dealing as the second-largest criminal industry in the world.” Sex trafficking and commercial sex exploitation of women and children is one of the most horrendous crimes of our time. The estimated value of human trafficking industry worldwide, according to the United Nations is $32 Billion
