Ventura Community Foundation Hosts Environmental Initiative

The Environmental Justice with CAUSE & CFROG event April 14th is a part of the environmental initiative, one of ten such focus points, for the non-profit organization.

The Ventura County Community Foundation has met with over 40 different local environmental nonprofits and community partners, via Zoom and through in-person site visits, to learn about their causes and needs which can be supported through philanthropy. About Us - Ventura County Community Foundation

The April 14th event is Environmental Justice with CAUSE and CFROG

CAUSE: Central Coast Alliance United for a Sustainable Economy focus issues are 

CFROG: CLIMATE FIRST: REPLACING OIL & GAS: is a non-profit, non-partisan, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to combating the climate crisis by working to shape the transition from fossil fuels to a carbon-free economy in Ventura County. CFROG also serves as a watchdog organization dedicated to ensuring that oil and gas operations are properly reviewed, permitted, monitored, and compliant.

There are currently ten initiatives of the Ventura Community Foundation, of Camarillo, are:

The VCF has a path for you to develop a fund to benefit the community. "The Benefits of establishing a fund with VCCF are plentiful".  They assisted the Iskander family with their pursuit of donations to facilitate the formation of a foundation.
