The Ventura County Community Foundation has met with over 40 different local environmental nonprofits and community partners, via Zoom and through in-person site visits, to learn about their causes and needs which can be supported through philanthropy. About Us - Ventura County Community Foundation

The April 14th event is Environmental Justice with CAUSE and CFROG

CAUSE: Central Coast Alliance United for a Sustainable Economy focus issues are 

• ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE

• IMMIGRANT RIGHTS
• INVESTING IN YOUTH OF COLOR
• VOTING RIGHTS
• WORKERS RIGHTS

CFROG: CLIMATE FIRST: REPLACING OIL & GAS: is a non-profit, non-partisan, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to combating the climate crisis by working to shape the transition from fossil fuels to a carbon-free economy in Ventura County. CFROG also serves as a watchdog organization dedicated to ensuring that oil and gas operations are properly reviewed, permitted, monitored, and compliant.

The VCF has a path for you to develop a fund to benefit the community. "The Benefits of establishing a fund with VCCF are plentiful".  They assisted the Iskander family with their pursuit of donations to facilitate the formation of a foundation.
