The 8th Annual RC Worldrome takes place Friday Jun. 14 thru Saturday Jun. 15, 2024 on the Historic Encino Velodrome in Southern California. 

R/C Oval Racing at this Historic High Banked Concrete track dates back to 1987 when Dan and Gary held the 1st of many RC THUNDERDROME events, and we've kept the tradition going, and the track is better now by far than it was during those original events.

About the track: The Encino Velodrome is a 250 meter high banked concrete bicycle track - (we've measured the run line at just over 826ft)Located along the concrete river in the back of a baseball park complex, this track has held many r/c oval events in it's history.We are running the old school OVAL PAN CARS, similar to how they ran in the 1990s, except on Lipo battery power and Brushless motors.But our fastest growing, and most fun classes ever are based on Kit Stock TRAXXAS off-road based cars.* Traxxas 2wd Bandit Buggy w/ "Hobby Stock" bodies - Bandit Hobby Stock
