Gen Z has been defined as those born from 1997 -2012. Although there is validity, merit, or justification to interject a correction for this shortened span of 15 years, rather than the traditional 25 years, or even a generous span of 20-30 years, for a generation.
Nevertheless, it is these who hover around the college years, both entering and completing, who have gone beyond what an older generation reacted to recycling: Asking for corporate response either with products reflecting a percentage of recycled content and/or a recycle impact statement for production and waste.
