Wave of Flags at Pepperdine Begins 9/7

Waves of Flags have represented, for 17 consecutive years, each person who lost their life on 9/11/01 with American flags & international flags for their homeland.

Pepperdine University will commemorate the lives lost in the terror attacks on September 11, 2001, with the Waves of Flags display at Alumni Park. 

This is the 17th consecutive year of the Waves of Flags, which features a vast display of American flags & international flags representing the home countries of those from abroad  

a total of - 2,977 flags representing lives lost.

The installation will be on display at the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Malibu Canyon Road from Saturday, September 7 to Friday, September 27.

If you'd like to volunteer to help raise or lower the flags from 10am to 2pm on 9/7 and 9/27, register at www.pepperdine.edu/waves-of-flags.
