Hallmark's "Countdown to Christmas" began in 2009. The similar elements of each movie are charted by some! While others like Sean & Lilianna film short respectful parodies.
The Hagle Tree farm offers a "Cut Your Own" Family Tradition in Somis, California. It was here a couple from Santa Monica chose to film an authentic "Hallmark" style drama for their social media accounts. The reel is less than two minutes but includes all the elements of a true Hallmark Christmas drama.
Girl leaves for the big city after high school...returns home for the holidays...runs into high-school boyfriend...........
@seankolar and @liliannawilde wrote their script and then filmed and edited it during Thanksgiving weekend this year, upon the heels of an earlier Christmas' parody. Lilianna describes it as "will Holly and Chris save the Christmas tree farm just in time for Christmas Eve? Find out tonight on “Evergreen Grove”.
Further details include: "we filmed this at the amazing @haglechristmastreefarm it was so beautiful to be surrounded by the pines and put Sean right into character"🎄✨♥️
