LAURA INGALLS

Character is a white Female, 9-11 years old. Laura is a disruptor. Honest to a fault. Questions authority. She is observant, tender more... strong-willed, hot-tempered. She resists the bounds of 19th-century ladylike behavior — she likes to hunt and run barefoot and feel the sun on her face. She is curious and optimistic and fearless and is quick to confront anyone who is cruel or unjust. She loves fiercely and unapologetically and is utterly devoted to her dog, Jack. Trip Friendly, son of original Little House On the Prairie producer Ed Friendly, told Entertainment Weekly in 2020 he had talked about a reboot-remake with his father, who passed away in 2007.  Friendly is an executive producer on the Netflix reboot.
