FALL EARTH DAY EVENT - CLEAN NORDHOFF OF LITTER: TOPANGA CANYON TO OSBORNE

Event Date: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2023

BRING YOUR OWN GLOVES/WATER.  

Grabbers, bags, and T-Shirts will be provided.

Event Time: 9am - 11am

Location: You will be assigned a street

THIS IS A FIRST! BE PART OF IT!

We will be clearing the litter from Nordhoff starting from Topanga Canyon Blvd all the way to Osborne (5 FREEWAY) - 11 miles of street! 

 All in a 2-hour period using volunteers who want to help to get the streets clean and send a message that if we work together, we can accomplish amazing things!

You will be assigned a street / partner(s) to work with as you start at 9am to clean both sides of the assigned street going east and west - ridding the curb, sidewalk and planters of all litter. 

 You pick up everything that is not organic (cigarette butts, cups, paper, car accident parts, screws, cans, to-go materials, straws, etc.).

All bags will be secured by tying the top flaps and then placed near the curb against a pole of some kind for easy pick up - in a red zone if there is one.

 If you can group the bags together, that is even better.
