According to a social media post by Housing Action Coalition which is "Advocating for building more housing at all levels of affordability to help alleviate the Bay Area's"

Los Angeles Council District 3 is one of the most competitive open seats of 2026. We're kicking off our Candidate Series with a housing-focused virtual forum featuring the leading candidates running for CD3, which covers neighborhoods across the western San Fernando Valley -- including Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Reseda, Winnetka, and Canoga Park.

This is your chance to hear directly from the candidates about where they stand on the housing issues that matter most to the affordability of our region. RSVP today to make sure you have a front-row seat to the conversation!

Candidates Barri Worth Girvan, Tim Gaspar, and Jon Rawlings will join us to discuss their vision for housing in Council District 3 and the City of Los Angeles. Co-hosted with Inner City Law Center.

RSVP for the virtual event here.

The Housing Action Coalition is also co-hosting a Mayoral debate and Gubernatorial Candidate informational events.
