2nd Prize in the Billion Dollar Lottery

The largest lottery MegaMillion 2nd prize occurred in 2022. It was a long accumulation beginning January 4th at $1,376,043 until ultimately on June 17th one person won $7,727,088.

The previous billion-dollar lottery prize was October 2018.  However, the second prize of a million dollars was made available to 36 people who correctly picked 5 numbers but not the "mega" number.  Even if they tithed & paid 25% in taxes the net results would be $675,000.  Not bad considering MILLIONS of people spent $2 ...$10...$20 even $100 to not win anything. Overall chances of winning a prize are 1 in 24.
