NEW FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT for LAFD#88! San Fernando Valley Audubon Society is pleased to donate a FIRE SKID UNIT to Station#88 for their continued dedication to fighting fires in the Sepulveda Basin. 

 The Skid Unit, a self-contained firefighting system that can be loaded into a pickup or a trailer, is designed to quickly deploy in hard to access areas around the Basin. 

 "We are donating the SKID Unit to show our support for an LA City Department that shares our values", stated Katheryn Barton, President of the SFV Audubon Society.
