Van Nuys Civic Center is the site for LA City Council meetings the first Friday of every other month. Regular meetings are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays at L.A. City Hall. They have not met since December 13th.
Members of the public may also attend the Council meeting in-person. Live, oral public comment will be taken in-person, only, and not via teleconference. The Council meeting will be broadcast

- The first Friday in 2022 would have been Jan 7th, Feb 4th (cancelled), March 4th, Apr 1st, May 6th, Jun 3rd, Jul 1st, Aug 5th, Sep 7th (recess), Oct 7th, Nov 4th, Dec 2nd.
- March 22, 2022 the L.A. City Council voted to expand the parking at Van Nuys Civic Center.
- October 7th 2022 the 110 yr old Van Nuys Branch Library reopened. The current building was constructed in 1964, adjacent to the Van Nuys Civic Center, had undergone a $1.9 million renovation.
This week the Council will meet only Tuesday & Wednesday not Friday. They last met December 13th and have been in recess beginning December 14th.
